Only 12 miles to do over the next three days to
get from Oakland to San Francisco. I'm going to have to take a ferry because
bikes are not allowed on either bridge that crosses the bay from Oakland.
Just got the route data for the ride yesterday, in those
last 34 miles, I went over 14 category 5 climbs:
CRAZY! I think that's the
most climbing since I did 10 cat 5's in the last day of the Appalachian
mountains.
And I went down a hill yesterday that had a sign for 12%
grade for about a mile. Very glad I got to go down that, because I'm not sure I could have made it up.
